Summary
At DSV Road Inc, the Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives within our freight brokerage agent program. This role involves creating and executing recruiting and marketing strategies under the guidance of senior leadership. The primary mission is to facilitate the next generation of business solutions that enhance internal operations, drive scalability, and improve financial performance. This role will play a crucial part in implementing strategies that support the overall growth and success of the agent program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize the performance of our freight brokerage agent program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within the agent program.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of strategic initiatives and project outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the agent program by implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate collaboration and alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Handle large volumes of data and perform structured statistical analysis to support decision-making processes at the agent program.
- Create and recommend clear SOPs to be used for agent owners on business training, operational performance, and connectivity to DSV.
- Grow the agent program through strategic marketing and recruiting practices.

Educational background / Work experience / Qualifications
- 5+ years of Brokerage / Business Development / Project management experience in the 3PL / logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of all products including supply chain solutions, freight forwarding (air, ocean, road) and contract logistics.
- Previous experience in a managerial position
- Strong experience in development and process improvement.
Language Skills
- Business fluent in English
- Preferably good command of local language
Computer Literacy
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)
- Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management and Transportation Management Tools
Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, working beyond these hours will often be required by business needs.
