Organizing Together 2020 is a coalition of organizations, organizers and activists working together to advance progressive issues and defeat President Trump. Organizing Together 2020 is a federal independent campaign that will build community based, volunteer driven, issue and electoral organizational capacity for the general election campaign. Organizing Together 2020 will organize early to build a robust organization ready to fully support a nominee for the general election. Organizing 2020 is hiring a full‐time Organizer for its statewide field program in Arizona. Organizers will serve on the campaign’s front lines in Arizona. This role reports to the Regional Organizer Director and manage all organizing activities within their assigned turf.

Responsibilities

Manage all organizing activities within assigned turf
Develop organizing plan that incorporates both digital and in-person tactics into our organizing work
Recruit and manage volunteers and volunteer teams, for non-profit partners
Train volunteers for non-profit partners, in both large group settings and one-on-one with a focus on developing skilled volunteer leaders, of non-profit partners, who are comfortable leading actions on their own
Lead voter contact activities in your region
Coordinate and direct all organizing work performed by volunteers in assigned turf
Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded
Represent the campaign at events as necessary
Detailed, regular reporting of activities and program results
Create and maintain a positive work environment and culture
Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Must be able to travel to multiple houses each shift, transport campaign materials, knock on doors, converse with residents, and do data entry on results

Ability to relocate in-state for the duration of the campaign
