Email Deliverability Specialist

The Email Deliverability Specialist will be responsible for ensuring high-level email and text campaign deliverability through our proprietary communications platform across our family of brands.

We’re looking for a tech-savvy individual with advanced knowledge of email authentication and other factors affecting inbox success. The Email Deliverability Specialist will also have experience with writing, research, data analysis, and project management skills as well as a reasonable level of technical understanding of SMS messaging.

What you’ll do:

Build and maintain strong relationships with ISPs
Research and keep informed on deliverability as a subject matter expert
Investigate, diagnose and remediate email deliverability issues by working with customers, internal teams and with tier-one support at ISPs, email blacklists and anti-spam technology providers. Proactively manage IP reputation and deliverability for all our portfolio companies and maintain compliance and best practice sending behaviors.
Create deliverability reports and present findings and recommendations.
Respond to deliverability related support tickets or customer concerns, delivering best practice to Support team for customer issues, being the expert escalation on specific customer issues.
Work with team on launching SMS platform, ensuring program meets regulations
Take an active role in thought leadership through writing up operational processes and communicating changes/compliance issues to various teams

What you’ll bring:

3-5+ years’ experience with e-mail best practices and deliverability
Expert knowledge of best practices for sending bulk email and texts
A good understanding of email end-to-end delivery including IP addresses, DNS, SMTP, authentication and email headers
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL and all other anti-spam and SMS laws
Ability to set up and monitor delivery metrics, and develop plans to improve inbox placement.
Experience of email delivery, ISP or ESP relations or similar experience with large-scale email campaigns
Knowledge of creating and maintaining IP reputation
SQL experience a plus
