Description and Responsibilities:

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven Design Intern with a passion in crafting engaging design solutions and a willingness to grow their design skills for an ever-changing landscape.

The Design Intern will work closely with the Design Manager and Director of Marketing to provide simple and complex web, email, and social media designs that reflect the ideals of our products and brand. Must be able to demonstrate solid problem-solving skills through design thinking, communicate solutions clearly and provide reasoning, and iterate constantly through team feedback and user testing. Will also be required to design and code emails for our various marketing and notification initiatives.

Qualifications:

Excelling visual design skills and strong understanding of graphic and UX design principles, theory, relativity, and layout.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, primarily with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Proficient in HTML and CSS coding with a solid comprehension of best and up-to-date email markup practices being a plus.
Proficient in the latest Mac and Windows operating systems.
Demonstrate strong time management skills, multitasking, and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to operate independently as well as within multiple teams.
Be very self-motivated, hands-on, organized, and adaptive.
Familiar with Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, Terminal or other coding platforms.
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint or Google docs.
Familiar with blogging platforms.
