About Us

The Orme School, a private international boarding school, sits just off I-17, 75 miles north of central Phoenix. The school kitchen currently serves 110 students in grades 7 to 12, as well as school staff, faculty and their families, 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. These meals are made from scratch involving cleaning, cutting, and cooking, whole ingredients, many from local farms as well as from our school garden and orchard. the Orme School is an EOE.

The Job

Full time Cook need for fast paced, cook from scratch kitchen. This job offers a competitive wage and benefits.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

The work environment for Cook includes the following large kitchen environment elements and exposures

- Fast paced kitchen

- Moderate to high noise level

- Exposure to soap and cleaning solutions

- Slippery/uneven surfaces may be encountered

- Frequently moving from cold freezer to normal kitchen environment
