Job Purpose:
Provides administrative support to the Executive Chef, Chef De Cuisine, Sous Chef and daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
· Create kitchen prep sheets
· Verify distributed contracts using catering event sheet
· Recipe costing and maintaining recipe database
· Tracking waste of food products to ensure food program is running as efficiently as possible
· Acquire specialty products when needed
· Assist with placing daily food product orders
· Create daily contracts for cafés and contracted accounts
· Maintain cafes’ and contracted accounts’ dietary requirement and order guideline documentation
· Assist in producing billing and pricing information for internal cafes’ and contracted accounts’
· Multi-Task and cross train to assist in kitchen administrative functions and responsibilities
Skills/Qualifications:
· Detail-oriented with good organizational and administrative skills
· Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Time management
· Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written
· Must be a team player with the ability to multi task
· Ability to perform under pressure
· High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
