COMPUTER HARDWARE TECHNICIAN

We specialize in delivering FUN, EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields for kids in grades 4-9. We currently have an opening to teach PC Hardware concepts to middle school kids. You will disassemble a PC, teach basic hardware concepts, as well as Windows XP concepts and reassemble the PC.

You will have the opportunity to teach this class in an innovative manner and encourage you to be creative and fun. We also want you to share your experiences and help kids explore IT career options.

*Required Qualifications:
-Must have experience/knowledge of PC hardware repair.
-Must be authorized to work in the United States.
-Must be a local candidate and be available for immediate hire.
-Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
-Must take and pass a comprehensive background check to include 7 year criminal history.
-Must be able to carry and/or lift tools, kits or parts of up to 50 lbs.

Must have ONE of the following basic qualifications:
-A+ Certification
-2 year (or greater) degree in electronics or computer technology.
-High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of PC hardware repair experience in a customer field environment.
-Excellent customer service skills and a desire to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
-Must have an ability to work with minimal immediate supervision.
-Ability to create a lesson plan for 4 classes to teach the basics of PC hardware concepts.
