TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Preventive pest control is an industry leader in integrative pest management solutions. As a service technician, you are the face of the company and have the responsibility to maintain customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service. The daily routine of a technician involves completing a route of services while keeping strict adherence to time windows and other specific customer requests. Technicians are also required to be available during office hours to provide same day services as needed. The compensation for the technician position is based off commission from the services rendered with an opportunity to increase income through sales and incentives. We offer paid training. All technicians are expected to maintain state licensing by passing examinations and completing continuing education units. Preventive covers the cost of the first license exam. Previous experience with pest control is a plus but not required.

BASIC DUTIES

- Complete assigned service routes

- Apply pesticide treatments in accordance to local and national laws and company procedures (S.O.P.)

- Be on time to services and meetings

- Provide exceptional customer service

- Resolve customer complaints and issues with service

- Keep work truck organized and clean

- Keep all equipment well maintained and operating properly

- Collect payment for services rendered and turn in payments to office staff

- Generate revenue by upselling services to existing accounts and signing up new customers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
