All Told, an integrated marketing division of Allison+Partners, is seeking a sharp and dynamic Account Manager for our New York and Phoenix (Scottsdale) offices. The Account Manager will be in charge of campaign development and execution while building and maintaining positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving Client’s marketing objectives. This role will be a critical link between developing ideas and bringing them to life, as well as driving cross-functional innovation and business growth for Allison+Partners. 
He/she will play a pivotal role in account planning when a client seeks work involving multiple touch points – creative, content, digital, amplification – and blending the best of earned, owned, paid, and shared media. This person will have the proven ability to take a project from messaging to positioning to programming with a holistic view of all the pieces that can be added to the mix - branding/identity, communications strategy, channel planning, sales materials, internal communications, paid media, website and social, etc.

This is a fundamental position with a focus on integration, creativity, and perfect execution. This person will be embedded on our integrated accounts, contribute to other accounts as needed, and drive programming and represent our integrated vision to both existing and prospective clients.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assume a leadership role in the preparation and conduct of account, inter-agency and client meetings
  • Help oversee day-to-day account management functions and processes within assigned accounts
  • Ensure that clear, concise direction and workflows are established for all account initiatives 
  • Gain thorough insight into the Client’s business and industry and provide clients with unsolicited, team-generated ideas on improving their business or maximizing efficiencies 
  • Maintain a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration within agency team members
  • Identify the Client’s needs, and effectively communicate them to creative, content, strategy, PR, research and measurement teams
  • Delegate without giving up responsibility, control or authority
  • Supervise the lifecycle of production process 
  • A contributor in pitches for both All Told assignments as well as larger agency-wide opportunities
  • Can comfortably articulate a compelling POV on the validity and need of various marketing opportunities, including existing or emerging digital, social, influencer and traditional channels and platforms


Desired traits

Ideal candidate:

  • Has 5+ years of experience, preferably in advertising, marketing, public relations/communications or other related discipline
  • Is a deep believer in the philosophy of integrated marketing solutions driving the most valuable activity among a client’s customers and communities
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Is motivated, self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Knows when to ask for help and when to lead
  • Is a creative problem solver
  • Has excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Has B2B and Consumer experience
