Data Visualization Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a Data Visualization Engineer for our client in San Francisco.

As an ideal candidate for this position, you will be specialized in writing data-driven applications, and will have lived through the lifecycle of the data that drives them. You will be comfortable dealing with large sets of imperfect data and designing scalable multi-tier systems to process it. As our data volume explodes, you will apply your deep knowledge of performance, scalability and optimization to make appropriate recommendations, as well as, help materialize them.

Responsibilities:
· Fully responsible for producing visualizations for new mission-critical products.
· Develop frameworks for effective, eye-popping visualizations efficiently.
· Leading and mentoring a team of visualization engineers.
· Interacting with Product to analyze requirements and synthesize solutions.

Skills & Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:
· 5+ years analyzing existing, and creating new, complex SQL queries to extract data from Business Intelligence Systems,
· 3+ years creating data visualizations and reporting dashboards in Python, Django and JavaScript,
· 2+ years experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
· Experience analyzing requirements.
· BS Engineering or Computer Science.
