Brightstar Care Skilled Home Health Agency is actively seeking RNs and LPNs to work either Full Time or Part Time (Flexible Schedules, Visits and/or Shifts). We prefer that you have skilled Home Health Care experience (at least 1 year) or we'lll consider applicants that have had hospital experience working on the Med/Surg floor or at a skilled nursing facility. We do limit our service area to the southeast portion of Maricopa County: Mesa, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Chandler and Sun Lakes, cutting down on time spent on the road. We do require our employees to live in our service area. Brightstar is independently owned and operated and Joint Commission Accredited. Not only do we provide skilled home health care services but also private duty services as well. Most of our clients are veterans. RNs who meet our requirements and who would like the opportunity to advance to a Nursing Supervisor position are also encouraged to apply. Skills & Responsibilities

1 year of hospital (Med/Surg floor experience), home health care or skilled nursing facility. Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with current license in the State of Arizona. To be eligible for hire, applicants must also have the following documentation: current CPR, driver's license, auto insurance, physical exam within last year (you may sign a waiver stating that you will acquire a physical within 6 months of hire), 3 references (at least 2 professional), Social Security card, and finger print clearance card ( if you don't have a fingerprint clearance card, we will assist you with this process). You are also required to pass a drug test as well.

Do you have experience with wound vacs, PICC lines, venipuncture lab draws, basic wound care, med management, completing multi-systems assessments, patient teaching, computer documentation and documentation organization and patient scheduling skills? Experience using documentation software is helpful but we do provide training. Do you have a heart for veterans and want to give back to those that have served our country?

Because of our extensive commitment to properly train our employees, we do ask for at least a 6 month commitment in order to be hired.

Salary Details

Brightstar Care of Mesa offers RNs and LPNs a flexible work schedule, opportunity for taking on further responsibilities as well as competitive pay. Brightstar also restricts our service area to the southest portion of the valley which includes: Mesa, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Chandler and Sun Lakes to reduce "windshield" time. RNs are also in charge of their own schedules. With a commitment of accepting at least a minimum of 10 shifts a week, our nurses are provided a tablet device to manage their documentation. RNs receive an extensive orientation (LPNs are provided an abbreviated orientaton) along with addional training on our AXXESS documentation software (LPNs are also provided this training).

The Rate of Pay above is for RNs. *pay rate will vary depending on type of visit (Starts of Care, Re-certifications, etc)
