Job Description

Universal Background Screening is a nationwide provider of background screening services and we are currently looking for an addition to our Accounting Team. The Billing Clerk reports directly to the accounting manager and is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Audit accounts payable invoices.
  • Post payments to web-based Accounts Receivable system
  • Review monthly customer invoices for accuracy
  • Prepare and mail monthly customer invoices and statements
  • Process credit card payments
  • Make phone calls to customers with past due account balances
  • Assist employees, vendors, and clients by answering any questions relating to invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Responsibilities

We are looking to hire someone with knowledge of accounting and accounting principles as well as the following:

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must be flexible, organized, and detail oriented
  • Possess good communication skills, have the ability to work with people and project a positive attitude.
  • Possess a High School Degree or Equivalent

Salary Details
