Sort Manager

Job Description

OnTrac, the largest regional package delivery company in the United States, is currently hiring for a Sort Manager. The OnTrac hub located in Sparks, NV is a very fast paced, high intensity environment and our high profile customers expect perfection every day.

We are looking for strong management candidates to add to our team and help us grow and meet our customer’s expectations. Our location is the gateway to the 8 states OnTrac serves.

Please note that this position reports directly to the PM Operations Manager and supervises the PM shift.

The proposed work schedule is Monday through Friday approximately 2:00pm-11:00pm.

Skills & Responsibilities

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Exceptional proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products especially Excel and Outlook
•Ability to monitor and maintain cost and profitability margins
•Ability to educate staff on processes and safety requirements
•Ability to motivate and lead a team of part time and full time employees
•Strong ability to resolve conflict
•Ability to implement accountability for your staff
•Willingness to learn the OnTrac processes
•Dedicated, reliable, confident, and flexible

•Minimum 3 years supervisory or lead experience (preferably in a package sort environment, warehouse, transportation or manufacturing industry).
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Proven leadership skills
