Job Description

Seeking Gallery Assistant for contemporary art gallery downtown Phoenix

4-8 hours per week

Responsibilities/obligations include: Weekly Saturday gallery hours (12-4pm), Third and  First Friday artwalk evenings (6-10pm), painting/patching for monthly gallery destall, maintaining social media (Facebook/Twitter/possibly Instagram/etc) various other hours throughout month.

Training will begin June 13.

Skills & Responsibilities

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

-able to discuss art thoughtfully and succinctly

-comfortable talking to artists and buyers

-quick to converse with gallery patrons

-comfortable painting/patching gallery walls
