Account Executive

Job Description

Overall Purpose

 

This position is responsible for selling new innovative outsourcing services to a targeted group of financial institutions. This role will also sell the benefits of data contribution across the enterprise, specifically as it relates to data that is strategically important to the company,

 

Essential Functions

  • Leverage existing executive level relationships to increase business while growing and establishing new revenue-producing relationships.
  • Articulate the strategy and value proposition in the customer’s terms.
  • Sell the benefits of data contribution enterprise-wide.
  • Lead account team to develop and execute account strategy for a named territory of 6 – 8 key accounts.
  • Meet or exceed net new revenue quota.
    • Sell net new contracts for services outside of the current Early Warning footprint.
    • Upsell (gain commitment for additional use of the same product or service to a new line of business within the Assigned Account).
    • Effectively utilize a structured sales methodology and Salesforce.com.
  • Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.

Skills & Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related field
  • Five years of sales experience with technical, fraud and risk-based solutions, with a primary focus on revenue delivery in the financial services sector
  • Consultative, conceptual and strategic selling skills
  • Ability to communicate strategy and vision
  • Active listening capabilities
  • Superior verbal communication skills and good written skills
  • Travel up to 70%
  • Approved background and drug screen is required

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with financial and government agencies
  • Experience in selling outsourcing services
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred

 

 

 

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers and travel.
