As a Customer Service Specialist, you will add great value to the customer experience by setting the stage for their relationship with PayPal. Your specialized role will service the needs of PayPal's Australia Customers and will require you to remain knowledgeable about PayPal products, empowered to make well balanced decisions and personally driven to be an effective advocate for PayPal customers. Work Experience Requirement: Minimum of two years' experience within a financial service industry or call center environment. Are you interested in different cultures and countries? As an Australia Disputes and Claims Teammate, you will add great value to the customer experience by handling the Disputes and Claims calls and strengthening their relationship with PayPal. Your specialized role will service contacts for Items that were not received or not as described by the seller. You will be empowered to make well balanced decisions and personally driven to be an effective advocate for PayPal customers. 

CORE DUTIES:
• Answer phone calls, emails from customers and work to resolve their queries in real time or work with the most relevant PayPal department so it can be handled appropriately. 

• Proactively recommend and educate the customer about features and benefits of PayPal products in order to improve their satisfaction and deepen their relationship with PayPal. Deliver on metrics for example: phone handled time, customer experience; proactive product offered and accepted opportunities. 

• Provide consistent feedback regarding overall customer satisfaction, tools and processes.
 

Skills & Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience within a financial service industry or call center environment in one of these areas:
o Technical or Product Support
o Call Center/Customer Support experience with direct customer contact
o Financial services industry
o Fraud or Risk Experience
o Sales experience (commission based, quota based, up-selling, cross-selling)

Education Experience:

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent
