SEO Manager

Job Description

Infusionsoft is looking for an SEO Manager to freaking rock the socks off our SEO strategy. One of Infusionsoft’s top initiatives is to build an organic marketing machine that increases our visibility in search engines. The SEO Manager will

1) set the vision for SEO

2) implement SEO strategy and 

3) work with content producers and creative to insure our SEO efforts are consistent and accurate.

We are looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit that can take this opportunity and run with it, someone with a broad and deep understanding of SEO and someone who loves the internet. This person will generate an increasing number of prospects on a monthly bases and performance will be measured by increases in organic traffic, conversion and customers generated through organic search traffic.

The rock star we hire will lead SEO initiatives that expand across departmentally and will lead a team of SEO experts who will grow our organic traffic exponentially.

Skills & Responsibilities

Daily deeds include:

1. Setting the vision for SEO at Infusionsoft
2. Implementing the SEO strategy
   1. Technical implementation (HTML, meta content, H1 tags, keyword density, Schema)
   2. Off-site implementation (high-end link building through communities and forums by building relationships with online influencers)
3. Working with content producers and creative to insure our SEO strategy is consistent.
   1. Providing feedback to the content team on keywords and results
   2. Working with creative to insure our website is built in a way that enables the best SEO results possible.
4. Finding opportunities to maximize our SEO results on all Infusionsoft websites.
5. Finding keyword opportunities and conveying them to content owners (social, product marketing, pr, content team)

Must Haves

1. 2 - 3 years of experience in an SEO role
2. Love for the internet
3. You can cross collaborate with other departments and teams
4. Worked with Google Analytics, Moz, Brightedge or other SEO tools

Ideally, you have...

1. 5+ years of experience in an SEO role
2. Strong web experience (HTML/CSS)
3. Experience using Drupal and Wordpress
