Independent Sales Agent

Job Description

Phoenix-based start-up building unique delivery management SaaS platform is seeking an independent sales agent for the Arizona area. This is a ground-floor start-up opportunity. You will be a self-employed contractor and must be comfortable in the fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment of a start-up.

This position is a company licensed exclusive independent contract sales agent job (not a W2 employee). Ideal candidate is: hungry for an opportunity to maximize growth, a self-starter, goal and action-oriented person with a burning desire and drive to achieve high levels of personal income and ability for long-term wealth creation. This person understands that to be truly successful, they must create lasting relationships with our customers, become trusted advisers to those customers, and at all times protect the company values.

Responsibilities

• Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based consultative approach. 
• Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Skills & Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Five (5) year of experience in the technology (preferably software or software-as-a-service or services) sector sales or owning and operating a technology related business. 
• Previous experience selling to retail accounts a plus (not a requirement).
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or sales disciplines.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
• Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. 
• Excellent negotiation skills and an innovative and persuasive character. 
• Add favorite jelly bean flavor to response for position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain product features and benefits in comparison to competing brands. Must be organized, outgoing, energetic and confident 
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.

• Must be able to pass background and drug test.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
