Customer Care and Front Desk Coordinator

The Root Salon is looking for a mature, reliable, friendly, outgoing, and kind, individual to join our team as a Customer Relations Specialist. You must possess a fashionable, professional appearance. We are in the business of empowering each person to feel and look their best. PREVIOUS FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, SALON PREFERRED, BUT NOT MANDATORY. If interested please come in and fill out an application with a resume present. Job Tasks and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • answering very busy telephones
  • making confirmation calls
  • booking appointments
  • taking and relaying messages
  • fast typing skills
  • providing information to callers
  • greeting people entering the salon
  • dealing with questions and concerns from the public and customers
  • monitoring visitors access and maintaining security awareness
  • preparing documents
  • basic housekeeping duties
  • controlling inventory
  • basic knowledge of technology
  • maintaining the salon Instagram
  • running salon errands such as picking up lunch, purchasing orders, etc.
