Brewery Ambassador

Borderlands Brewing Company is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly brewery ambassador to increase the availability and volume of Borderlands beers throughout the state of Arizona.

Base annual salary: $25,000

Commission: $10/bbl wholesale sales

Expected total annual salary: $35,000 - $55,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Spend 30 hrs per week visiting potential new accounts (average 20-25 accounts per week).

·         Review distributor and state-wide sales data to identify new sales opportunities.

·         Visit top accounts in person every month.

·         Participate in distributor ride-a-longs at least once a month.

·         Make overnight trips to out-of-town accounts at least 3 times monthly.

·         Maintain account locations and beer buyer contact database updated weekly.

·         Coordinate with brewing staff regarding the production and pricing of new beers.

·         Coordinate with distributor craft beer managers and sales staff regarding the sales of new beer.

·         Coordinate with national accounts (big box stores) regarding the flagship brand sales and introduction of seasonal and specialty products.

·         Create point of sales materials for yourself and distributor sales reps.

·         Extensive knowledge of Borderlands’ product line, values, and brand identity.

·         Spend 10-15hrs week at special events per month.

·         Coordinate with brewing staff, distributors, venues, and organizers for special events.

·         Event set-up and tear down.

·         Engage potential new customers in a positive and fun manner to raise excitement and awareness about Borderlands beers.

Skills & Requirements:

·         Current resident of Tucson or Phoenix metro areas.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills; especially in email communications.

·         Excellent time management skills; ability to be proactive and take initiative.

·         Valid AZ drivers’ license with a good driving record.

·         Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.

·         Available nights and weekends as required.
