Job Description

The Process Technician is responsible for the production of conventional allograft in accordance with company, FDA, AATB, and state rules and regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Comply with FDA, AATB, OHSA, cGTP, and state rules and regulations at all times.
  • Work with processing director and other processing technicians in the production of allograft for distribution in accordance with company SOPs, AATB Standards, FDA Regulations, and all applicable Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Maintain constant communication with management on production status and issues.
  • Assist production team in the completion of assigned tasks to meet the company goals.
  • Assist the processing director in tracking and ordering of supplies and materials used during production to ensure adequate inventory are kept to avoid disruption to production schedule.
  • Responsible for completing of production forms correctly and in a timely manner using current, approved forms, and submitting them to the production manager for review.
  • Responsible for the documentation of all process deviations from standard procedures and reporting all deviations to QA for investigation.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of instruments, clean room space, and equipment used in production.
  • Learn and develop skills in all areas of manufacturing stages including freeze-drying, sterilization, packaging and production.
  • Be crossed trained in all critical functions of production.
  • May be responsible for assisting the packaging team with packaging, labeling, and preparing final product for distribution.
  • Complete all necessary safety, job specific training, and retraining on an annual basis.
  • Other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor and/or PTT leadership.
 
 

Skills & Responsibilities

  • Technical degree in related field and/or equivalent education and work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year biologics manufacturing experience, working in a clean room environment using aseptic technique preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in all levels of manufacturing states including freeze-drying, sterilization, DBM, and packaging a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to leave team and mentor associates.
  • Ability to apply consistent company SOP, AATB, and FDA standards and regulations throughout the production process.
  • Highly motivated, task oriented, and strong attention to detail required.
