Job Description

Key Job Family Responsibilities

Serve as 1st-level contact for inbound phones sales.
Apply State Farm underwriting and eligibility guidelines to correctly price, and bind, policies according to established procedures

Incumbent may work irregular hours based on workload and job requirements.
Incumbent must be willing to work flexible work shifts as operation dictates.
Incumbent must successfully complete all company, state, and federal requirements (licenses) to sell and service designated State Farm products.

Hourly salary: $13.90

The Quote & Bind Department is an after-hours and weekend operation that supports a 24 hour and 7 days per week work environment driven by our customer demand. We are hiring part-time employees to start with us on April 28, 2014 at our Tempe, AZ location.

Selected candidates will attend 13 weeks of paid training from 4-28-14 through 7-26-14 Monday through Friday. Candidates must be able to attend all of training. Selected candidates will be assigned an initial work schedule at the time of the final offer. The work schedule is a set schedule of 24 hours per week and will include working a full day Saturday and/or Sunday every week and may include working some holidays in the future. Due to the nature of our business, flexibility in the work schedule is needed and future work schedules may change based on business needs.
Interested applicants do not need to currently possess a Property and Casualty (P&C) license. P&C Licensing training is provided and paid for by State Farm. The P&C Licensing exam is also paid for by State Farm.

New hires currently possessing an active and valid Personal Lines and Commercial Property & Casualty producers license may be eligible for a $500 bonus (less applicable taxes).
Candidates selected for this position will receive a job offer stating that continued employment as a State Farm Quote and Bind Representative is contingent upon meeting the requirements necessary to obtain appropriate state(s) mandated licenses to include successful completion of applicable licensing exam(s), and background checks required of various state(s).
A 12-month incumbency period is required for selected candidates.
