Job Description

GREEN LIVING Magazine seeks to hire an experienced editor to produce top quality content on a variety of topics in the area of sustainability (B2B, lifestyle, health and wellness, technology, consumer products, etc.).

You will be working closely with the publisher and creative director to continue the look, message and feel of the magazine. You will manage writers and interns, maintain relationships with public relation firms; write articles; manage budgets; edit content; develop original content for print and web; manage and prepare editorial calendar for print and social media; attend events related to the magazine; work with the sales team to keep consistent brand messaging; assist with marketing messaging.

We are looking for someone with a passion for sustainability, has strong writing and editing skills, a self-motivator, can work effectively under deadlines, has a journalism background, is the person that can take this position and run with it; strategic planning; creative mindset; an understanding of copyright law; deadline oriented; positive outlook and a can do attitude.
