Retail Supervisor
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and customer service oriented leader to manage our upcoming new retail store Fashionista for a Cause in downtown Phoenix. Join this amazing organization and support the promotion of economic independence for disadvantaged women.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management – Individual will monitor all boutique operations that include:
- Opening and closing the store on days of operation
- Recording and maintaining daily income reports
- Ability to effectively oversee all functions of the store, including personnel, merchandising and store profits
- Merchandising – Responsible to maintain the upkeep of the boutique floor so that it is presentable for customers to shop
- Manage any floor sets, mannequin sets and more
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of merchandise and identify the trends in the shop-ability of the clothes
- Donation Management – Works with staff and volunteers to manage donations. Organizes individual donor in-takes as they arrive from Dress for Success Phoenix or individual donors.
- Coordinate and manage corporate and individual suit drives
- Ensures donation sorting, steaming and placement onto the boutique floor is managed and is maintained
- Database and Records Management – maintains up-to-date records of all transactions and donations received
- Maintain in-kind donations, ensuring timely thank you letters to donors on a bi-weekly basis
- Special event management – Organizing activities that generate store traffic and visibility
- Establishing consistent events that promote the store to the community
- Creating campaigns that market the service the boutique offers
Skills & Responsibilities
- Has at least 5+ years in retail supervisor/management experience
- Ability to work 25-30 hours per week
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong professional presence and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability and desire to work without close supervision
- Willingness to go the extra mile – high level of customer service a must
- Ability to develop, direct and ensure store volunteers have the same level of high customer service
- Ability to lift 25+ pound
Bonus Qualities:
- Bilingual a plus
- Nonprofit experience
