What You Will Be Doing

Work as a member of the Creative team (includes copy, development, video and design) to create web, interactive, branding and print design assets
Effectively communicate and coordinate with copywriters and developers to ensure the visual design communicates the desired message and brand standards are maintained
Design wireframes and mock-ups to evaluate and communicate your designs
Create final, visual design based on wireframes
Maintain design standards across our existing products
Grow your skills as a designer—you will have dedicated time for this

Skills & Responsibilities

Must Have

A portfolio. Please include a link or attach a PDF to your application
3 years of industry design experience—recent graduates need not apply
A thorough understanding of visual design principles, typography, and web best practices
Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
Great communication skills
“Own it” mentality—we need you to take initiative
Ability to produce low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes
Openness to feedback, knowing how and when to defend design choices
Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work harmoniously in small, cross-functional teams
Ability to empathize with users and be an advocate for user-centered design
A passion for making small businesses succeed

You\'ll Stand Out If You Have

A degree in Design or equivalent experience
Responsive web design or development experience
HTML/CSS skills
Usability testing experience
Copywriting experience
Experience with motion graphics or animation
